Welcome to Holyoke Community Charter School

The Holyoke Community Charter School (HCCS) received a charter from the Massachusetts State Board of Education in 2000. As a public charter school, HCCS provides a tuition-free, non-selective education to Holyoke's school children.

Enrollment at HCCS is open to all resident school children of Holyoke on a space available basis via a lottery. The lottery is held annually in the spring. All 702 available spaces in grades K-8 will be filled. New applications for the waiting list are always being accepted. If spaces remain after the lottery is conducted, children from surrounding communities may apply for admission.
